WCC Students Only: If you have not already heard, WHS and WCC will be starting school virtually Tuesday, August 25 through Friday, August 28. At this time, students are projected to return to the classroom on Aug. 31.
DHS WCC Plan:
Monday you need to be at school by 11:45 to eat lunch, pick-up your ChromeBook, course syllabi, beginning of year enrollment papers, and attend your afternoon classes.
If you are a bus rider, you will come to school in the morning and go to your 8th hour scheduled class to begin the day. When students are released to go to their 1st hour class, we will advise you where you will be until lunch.
Students will be required to be online with their teachers Tuesday through Friday from 9:00-11:00 for AM classes.
All assignments and activities the first week will mirror as close as possible to a traditional start of school.
If work needs to be picked up for WCC it will be done on Wednesday and Friday mornings next week.
If you drive or have other means of transportation to DHS, you may opt to stay at home Tuesday-Friday and complete virtual WCC assignments this week. However, you must be online during the 2 hour morning window or your attendance at WCC will be adversely affected. And you must still be at DHS by 11:45 for your lunch and afternoon classes.
Chromebook Agreement Form must be signed by student and parent before the Chromebook can be given to the student. Please print off the 2 forms (https://www.dixonr1.com/o/dixo...) or stop by the HS office and pick up the forms. Forms can be returned with the student, scanned and sent to ljacobs@dixonr1.com, or faxed to 573-759-3625.
